Cop cams to provide swifter justice

Victims of crime are likely to get justice quicker with NSW frontline police being outfitted with body cameras, the Police Association says.

The NSW government has announced that it will be spending $4 million over two years to rollout the body worn video (BWV) cameras for frontline police.

The cameras will be attached to the vest of the officers and are expected to be housed inside the radio unit.

Police Association President, Scott Weber, said the cameras will be good for cops and the community. READ MORE
