Smart Shooter has received a follow-on contract from the U.S. Marine Corps for its soldier-portable SMASH 2000LE fire control systems, also referred to as SMASH 3000SA.
The US$3.4 million contract was issued by Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) and includes options for additional systems, spare parts and training valued at about US$2.4 million. If those options are exercised, the total contract value could reach about US$5.8 million.
Smart Shooter said delivery of the products and services covered by the contract and options is expected to be completed almost entirely in the fourth quarter of 2026, with a smaller portion of services to be provided by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
The company said the award follows a series of recent U.S. defence-related contracts, which it linked to growing operational demand for counter-drone capabilities. Smart Shooter cited previous announcements including a March 2026 contract with the U.S. Joint Interagency Task Force JIATF-401 valued at about US$2.4 million, a May 2026 U.S. Army contract valued at about US$10.7 million, and an early June 2026 contract with the U.S. Navy valued at about US$1.8 million.
Chief executive Michal Mor said the follow-on Marine Corps contract reflects “continued operational urgency” to deploy field-ready systems to address the growing drone threat.
Smart Shooter said its SMASH family of fire control systems is deployed by defence and security forces in the United States, Israel, the UK, Germany, NATO member countries and other allied nations.
