  • Department 13’s drone monitoring and management technology to integrate with AVCRM’s advance compliance and risk management software and technology.
  • An industry first collaboration of its kind, bringing together innovative technology from two highly respected leaders in their fields to offer a single, pioneering product delivering complete airspace operations management, safety and situational awareness.

Department 13 has partnered with Australian aviation software provider AVCRM (Advanced Compliance Risk Management) in a collaboration to create the industry’s most superior operational and safety management solution that will combat emerging unmanned threat landscapes.

Department 13’s drone detection systems are being integrated with AVCRM’s market-leading advanced compliance and risk management capabilities to bring clients operational safety, asset management and complete situational awareness.

The integrated system will provide a streamlined, turn-key solution ideal for critical infrastructure and, government and emergency services clients, giving them full command of drone detection and security.

Department 13 chief executive officer Lee Croft said the partnership marked a quantum leap for the drone detection industry sector and its clients to protects assets, infrastructure and people.

“The importance of this collaboration cannot be overstated – it’s a step change for the industry and we’re thrilled to be working beside the team of highly-respected and passionate professionals at AVCRM,” Mr Croft said.

“Operation platforms in compliance don’t have drone detection, and drone-detection platforms don’t have full compliance and risk management systems integrated into them.

“This partnership merges these two critical needs together for the first time. It’s a change that puts us way ahead of the capabilities of our competitors in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region, if not the globe.”

Over time, the ground-breaking, innovative system will also incorporate Department 13’s flagship counter-drone system MESMER. MESMER is currently deployed, and typically only available to, governments and defence departments around the world.

AVCRM is Australia’s leading compliance and risk management platform delivering services to enterprise and government clients, as well as emergency services and tiers of certified airports, domestically and internationally.

The concept of an all-Australian solution was born when the joint vision of CEO’s Mr Coft (D13) and Mr King (AVCRM) came to life enabling a co-development based on the observed needs of their customers various and unique requirements.

AVCRM Chief Executive Jonathan King described the partnership with Department 13 as a no brainer.

“By combining two superior systems into a single product, we are going to offer clients a turn-key solution with operational management of drones, complete with detection and situation awareness,” Mr King said.

“We’ve only just started mentioning it to our current clients and they’re loving the concept and innovation behind it.”

“Launching this collaboration with an internationally respected name such as Department 13 has been the perfect partnership that’s enabling the global market to access the innovation – and offer an improved level of operations to anyone serious about strategic monitoring, management and compliance of their critical infrastructure” said Mr King.

“We know this collaboration is going to be a game changer that will take the lead in how enterprises safely plan, monitor and protect their assets and people. And this is what we’re passionate about – safety and security at every level” he said.
