Calian Group Ltd says its UK subsidiary has signed a 15-year agreement with Raytheon UK to support the British Army’s Collective Training Service (ACTS) programme, delivered through the Raytheon-led Omnia Training consortium.
The contract is scheduled to start in October 2026, following the conclusion of the current Project NUMIDIAN arrangement. Calian said the deal is worth about CAD$296 million (£159 million) in contracted base revenue over the 15-year term.
Chris Pogue, Calian’s president for defence and space, said the company would continue supporting the British Army through ACTS alongside Raytheon UK and other Omnia Training partners.
Calian said its ACTS role builds on its work under Project NUMIDIAN, where it has provided collective training services for the UK Ministry of Defence and British Army.
Raytheon UK managing director and chief executive James Gray said Omnia Training brings together organisations focused on military training and simulation, and that the programme aims to provide increased training realism through an industry partnership model.
Collective training typically brings soldiers, commanders and allied forces together in simulated or realistic operational environments, with the aim of improving coordination and interoperability before deployment. Calian said it will deliver specialist collective training services and support the modernisation of British Army training through digital, synthetic and integrated training capabilities.
The announcement underlines ongoing investment in training and simulation as armed forces seek to prepare personnel for complex, multi-domain operations and maintain interoperability with allies.
