Axon Vision (TASE: AXN) says it has received an order from an Israeli defence customer valued at up to approximately NIS 3 million, expanding an existing deployment of its EdgeISR system across aerial platforms.
According to the company, the order includes an initial NIS 1 million commitment, with customer options for up to an additional NIS 2 million that can be exercised through the end of the year. Delivery is expected over the next 12 months.
Axon Vision said the work extends an existing engagement involving EdgeISR, which is designed for intelligence-gathering and target-acquisition missions in manned and unmanned aerial applications. The system processes electro-optical sensor feeds in real time to detect, classify and track targets and threats, providing decision-support information to operators.
The company positions the system as part of its “Edge AI” family of products intended to integrate with existing military platforms and reduce the time between target detection, identification, decision-making and operational response.
Chief executive Neri Zin said demand was increasing for AI tools that can operate “at the tactical edge” in real time, particularly for manned and unmanned platforms.
