Smart Shooter says it has received a follow-on U.S. Army award valued at about $10.7 million for its SMASH 2000LE (also known as SMASH 3000SA) rifle-mounted fire control systems, along with related support services. Delivery under the contract is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.
The award was issued through PAE Defensive Fires and will be executed through Atlantic Diving Supply, Inc. (ADS Inc.), according to the company. The contract also includes extended support coverage for the supplied systems.
Smart Shooter said the procurement expands the U.S. Army’s fielding of SMASH systems for individual counter-small unmanned aerial systems (C-sUAS) use. The company positioned the deal as part of a wider pattern of U.S. defence procurement activity involving the SMASH product line.
The company said the latest award follows a May 2025 contract with the U.S. Army, a July 2025 contract with the U.S. Marine Corps, and a March 2026 contract with JIATF-401 for the U.S. Air Force.
SMASH 2000LE is described by Smart Shooter as an enhanced configuration of its lightweight fire control system, adding connectivity intended to support integration with external sensors and battle management systems. The company said the system uses computer vision, artificial intelligence, and target tracking algorithms to help operators detect, track, and engage aerial and ground targets, including small drones.
Smart Shooter CEO Michal Mor said the award reflects increased demand for soldier-level counter-UAS capabilities as drone threats evolve.
Smart Shooter said the SMASH family of fire control systems is deployed by defence and security forces in the United States, Israel, the UK, Germany, NATO member countries, and other allied nations.
