Husqvarna has released three Automower® models in Australia: 305E NERA, 405XE NERA, and 435X AWD NERA.
With the introduction of these new models, Husqvarna brings its boundary wire-free technology and systematic mowing features to everyday suburban households.
For smaller to medium-sized lawns, the 305E NERA and 405XE NERA, launching from mid-July expand the boundary wire-free NERA range. Designed for gardens up to 900m², both models are equipped with Husqvarna’s innovative EdgeCut technology, which uses an additional rear cutting disc to keep lawn edges trimmed. The 405XE NERA also includes object avoidance through radar technology, ensuring smooth operation even when toys or garden tools are left behind.
Meanwhile, the 435X AWD NERA, launching from mid-August, brings power and precision to sloped and complex gardens. Featuring an all-wheel-drive system, it handles slopes of up to 70% with ease, with a cutting area of up to 5,000m². It is compatible with Husqvarna’s satellite-based EPOS™ technology, allowing for the creation of virtual boundaries through the Automower® Connect app, with no physical wires required.
Husqvarna have upgraded all models in the NERA range, including existing units, to receive a major update: systematic mowing. With this new feature, the mowers operate lane by lane, improving mowing efficiency by up to 50% and allowing homeowners to achieve striped or checkerboard lawn patterns, in addition to a smooth, carpet-like finish.
“Our ambition has always been to create an intelligent lawn care experience for every garden owner, and I’m excited to announce that with these new models, we’re bringing wire-free mowing to suburban Australian lawns. Each of these NERA models, combined with our innovation in systematic mowing, is designed as an effortless solution to achieve the perfect lawn year-round,” says Sarah Jenkinson, Brand Manager, Husqvarna Australia.
