Seeing Machines has announced the establishment of a dedicated Future Mobility Group as it moves to deepen integration with autonomous vehicle programs and support the transition of the sector from large-scale development to commercial deployment.
The new group has been formed in response to growing demand from autonomous driving programs worldwide, as automated vehicle technologies move beyond testing and validation into real-world, revenue-generating operations. This shift is driving increased demand for production-ready, human-centred safety systems capable of scaling across global fleets.
Seeing Machines has worked closely with many of the world’s leading autonomous driving companies over recent years, deploying its Guardian-based solution in more than 1,000 self-driving development vehicles. As the industry matures, the company said customers are now seeking deeper commercial and technical engagement to support embedded solutions that can scale safely and effectively.
The Future Mobility Group will operate as a dedicated team within Seeing Machines, focused on supporting autonomous vehicle programs across development, deployment and commercial scale. The group will work collaboratively with global customers to integrate Seeing Machines’ next-generation driver and occupant monitoring system technology into autonomy platforms through a more structured engagement model aligned with the needs of next-generation mobility services.
Paul McGlone, Chief Executive Officer of Seeing Machines, said future mobility extends beyond autonomy to include transport systems that understand people as well as they understand the road. He said interior sensing is becoming a foundational capability as automated driving technologies scale, enabling safer and more reliable automation while building trust between humans and machines.
McGlone said the establishment of the Future Mobility Group reflects Seeing Machines’ long-term strategy to place human understanding at the centre of next-generation vehicle platforms, leveraging existing company resources and platform technology as customers across automotive, aftermarket and aviation move toward higher levels of automation.
Seeing Machines said it is the first company in its category to establish a dedicated team focused on supporting the full lifecycle of autonomous vehicle programs, building on the success of its Guardian back-up driver monitoring system.
With the creation of the Future Mobility Group, the company is aligning its technology roadmap and commercial activities to support both existing and new customers as they deploy fully autonomous robotaxi services, logistics and delivery fleets, and remotely supervised, tele-operated vehicle platforms at scale.
