DroneShield Names U.S. Advisory Board to Bolster Strategic Expansion

DroneShield has announced the formation of a U.S. Advisory Board,with the intent of deeper engagement with government and industry stakeholders.
The newly established board will provide strategic guidance on policy, technology adoption, and operational expansion as DroneShield strengthens its U.S. footprint in counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS), electronic warfare, and AI-driven threat detection.
The Advisory Board includes four senior leaders with decades of combined experience in defense operations, technology, and policy:
General Mark D. Kelly (Ret.), U.S. Air Force (pictured)
With a 38-year Air Force career culminating as Commander, Air Combat Command, General Kelly led and prepared combat-ready air, space, cyber, and intelligence forces for global operations. A command pilot with over 6,000 flight hours—including 800 in combat—he brings unmatched operational insight from roles spanning the Pentagon to major Air Force commands.
Brigadier General Gwyn Armfield (Ret.), U.S. Air Force
Founder of RGA Consulting Group, General Armfield is a seasoned strategist and leader with nearly three decades in uniform. His past positions include Vice Director for Strategy and Plans at U.S. Central Command and Deputy Commanding General for U.S. and Coalition Special Operations Forces in Afghanistan. A Harvard Kennedy School Fellow and recipient of the Lance Sijan Leadership Award, Armfield’s background bridges military strategy and innovation.
Lt. Jay Humphlett (Ret.), U.S. Navy
A former TOPGUN graduate and F-14 Radar Intercept Officer, Humphlett has transitioned from the cockpit to executive leadership in defense and technology industries. His career includes key roles at Raytheon and Dataminr, along with senior positions across AI, OSINT, aviation, and national security sectors. Humphlett’s experience in both venture capital and mission-critical technology programs offers DroneShield vital insight into commercial-military convergence.
Anthony P. Reardon (Ret.), U.S. Air Force
Before retiring, Reardon served as Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force, managing a $5.6 billion portfolio and 37,000 personnel. His decades-long service encompassed leadership in strategic plans, international affairs, and legislative liaison. As a former RF-4C Weapons Systems Officer with over 1,900 flight hours, Reardon combines policy acumen with operational depth.
