The report comes as cautions rise regarding data protection, heightened by the continuous emergence of AI innovations. The survey brings to light the meticulous attitudes of the leaders in the local sector as they look to emerging infrastructure to manage data appropriately and effectively while adapting and informing efficient AI business initiatives.
Key priorities revealed among industry leaders include:
- Commitment to data protection in an AI world: Data security, data migration to the cloud, and data backup have been revealed as the top three priorities for ANZ CIOs when it comes to managing our data.

Quality of AI: Inaccurate or absent code documentation, AI training, false or incorrect information, and generating nonsensical or false information are all key AI concerns, with our IT leaders focused on ensuring the quality, accuracy, and security of the information feeding our AI.
