Konica Minolta Australia, in partnership Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), is launching two autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) at a Sydney expo later this month.

The MiR MC250 Mobile Cobot and the MiR1200 Pallet Jack will make their Australian debut with an interactive experience of how these artificial intelligence (AI)-powered systems are transforming logistics and production workflows.

MiR MC250 Mobile Cobot: compact, collaborative, and capable

The MiR MC250 combines an AMR with a Universal Robots (UR) arm, powered by MiR’s navigation technology, bringing true mobility to collaborative robotics.

Key features include:

  • seamless machine tending and quality inspection capabilities
  • flexible deployment across multiple tasks and production lines
  • built-in safety features for close human collaboration
  • quick redeployment with minimal setup time
  • ideal for precision handling in space-constrained environments.

MiR1200 Pallet Jack: revolutionising material handling with AI-powered efficiency

The MiR1200 is a next-generation AMR designed for high-speed, high-accuracy pallet transport in dynamic manufacturing and warehousing environments.

Key features include:

  • AI-based perception for fast, precise, and reliable pallet detection
  • high-capacity battery with fast charging to support 24/7 operations
  • compliance with ISO 3691-4 safety standards
  • payload capacity of up to 1,200kg.

These new solutions mark a significant milestone for mobile robotics in Australia, delivering greater speed, flexibility, and safety to businesses embracing automation.
