Meanwhile, there also seems to be an increased focus on select areas for jobs posted in the UK, Israel, and Japan.

In the UK, the company has posted jobs around RTL design engineer, Apple News, and Apple Services Academy. Similarly, in Israel, the company has posted jobs around physical design engineer, CAD engineer, and imaging & sensing technology group. For instance, ‘CAD Engineer – Infrastructure and Queue Developer’ role looks at multithreaded distributed systems and developing auxiliary layers and services over existing batch grid systems. In Japan, the company has posted jobs around Apple Pay, physical design engineer, and Apple Services Academy.

Apple seeks to hire AI/ML engineers across countries such as the US, Ireland, Singapore, and China. Another role by the company on Generative AI ‘Proactive Intelligence, Applied Research Scientist — Generative AI’ looks at integrating ML/RL frameworks into the products to train large-scale agents and leverage cloud services to enable scalable and distributed training/simulation of agent behaviors predicting multimodal via techniques such as Monte-Carlo methods, TD learning, policy approximations etc.

Sriprada concludes: “Based on Apple’s robust hiring efforts in the field of AI, it appears that the company is poised to embrace Generative AI, following the footsteps of its industry counterparts, which have achieved notable advancements in this domain.”
