Axon Vision (TASE: AXN) says it has received an order valued at up to about NIS 15 million to supply counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) to an Israeli defence organisation.
According to the company, the order covers systems intended to support real-time detection, identification and tracking of drones, as well as decision support for threat neutralisation in operational environments. Axon Vision said the order includes an initial component worth about NIS 6 million, with options that could add up to a further NIS 9 million.
The company said deliveries are expected over the next 12 months. The order follows the launch of ForceField, Axon Vision’s new C-UAS product, which it said was demonstrated in live-fire trials including interceptions of first-person-view (FPV) drone targets and other low-altitude threats.
Axon Vision said ForceField combines passive electro-optical sensing, embedded edge AI, autonomous decision support with “man-on-the-loop” control, and kinetic engagement in a compact system. The company said the design is intended to reduce the need to integrate multiple independent systems by combining “detect, understand, respond” functions in one platform.
The company said ForceField is designed to detect and counter fibre-optic-controlled FPV drones and other aerial threats that cannot be countered by electronic warfare. It said the system can operate without continuous communications or reliance on external detection systems, and can be integrated with existing military platforms using standard weapons and ammunition.
In a statement, CEO Neri Zin said the order reflects a shift from development and live-fire validation to early commercial adoption, and cited demand for systems combining AI and autonomy to address drone threats.
