India’s RRP Drones Boosts Turnover, Order Backlog Grows

RRP Drones Innovation Pvt. Limited, which develops and designs weather-resistant unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), payloads, and software to satisfy the needs of the global UAV market, has reported a turnover of INR140.9 million rupees (AUD2.55 million) for the year ending March 31, 2025. The current order book stands at INR300 million (AUD5.45 million).

“We are delighted to report a good set of numbers in FY25,” said Chairman Rajendra K Chodankar. “The consistent expansion of our order book reflects our growing reputation and trust within the industry. As we continue to innovate and expand, we remain committed to contributing to India’s defence capabilities.”
Among other things, the company manufactures drone-in-a-box systems designed for manual and autonomous security patrolling and emergency response. The flights can be scheduled and performed regularly, including for continuous operations, while autonomy is reached by mission planning features in different modes. The system can operate as a network providing larger coverage of the area.

“Drone-in-a-box, is a very unique technology and is a one umbrella solution for monitoring and execution,” adds Chodankar. “The current year will see acquisition with major global players which in turn is expected to add sizable business revenues too.”

RRP Drones has a full-cycle in-house manufacturing process. Components include hardware, autopilot, payloads, and broad integration options for third-party products and services.
